Défis Fantastiques - Le Port du Sable Noir is a sourcebook for Défis Fantastiques - le Jeu de rôle.
Works by a number of iconic illustrators (Iain McCaig, John Sibbick and others), including some previously unpublished ones (Malcolm Barter and Tony Hough), enhance the description of the city, its districts and the personalities who populate it.
Additional rules cover naval sorcery, navigation, combat between ships and crews, and a locality generator lets you create a village or a real city with just a few rolls of the dice. Two brand-new scenarios set in Sable Noir are also included: Rémy Lucot's En suivant le soleil takes players on a piratical adventure, while Frédéric Jannin's Le Vol de l'année plunges them into the city's filthy alleyways.
In addition to the city and district maps, two full-color maps have been designed by Jidus: the first is a brand-new regional map of the area around Sable Noir, and the second is a separate city map in A2 format, featuring details that you can track down in the game books about the City of Thieves.
This package includes the book Le Port du Sable Noir and an A2 color map of the city. Requires the core rulebook.
