To save the animals of the savannah from the evil poachers who have locked them up, you decide to act together. When night falls, you steal the cage keys to free the animals from their cages. Hurry before the poachers spot you!
A gentle introduction to cooperative play and strategy: each key drawn frees a different animal, so children can discuss the best choice together. They learn to win or lose together.
On his turn, a player draws a token.
- If it's a key: Bravo! He can free an animal. He can choose to free an animal identical to the one on the key token (regardless of cage color), or free an animal locked in a cage of the same color as the key (regardless of animal). The freed animal's tile is placed on the board, in square order, face up.
- If it's a poacher: Oops, a poacher is listening! The player places this token on a Poacher square on the board. If all the animals are released before all the Poacher squares are covered: win! If all 3 Poacher squares are covered before all 12 animals are released, you lose!
