The world's mighty heroes have succumbed to the zombie invasion. But a few superheroes have survived. Professor Xavier and his students are the last line of defense against the end of our world.
Marvel Zombies: X-Men Resistance is a cooperative game from the Zombicide range, in which 1 to 6 players take on the role of the last Super-Heroes against the Zombie Heroes and the hordes of undead controlled by the game.
The aim is to complete Mission Objectives, defeat Enemies and rescue Citizens. Eliminating Zombies earns the experience needed to upgrade Super-Heroes. But the more powerful they become, the more the Zombies come swarming in to hunt you down and devour you!
Only by working together and pushing their own limits can the Super Heroes hope to put an end to the zombie apocalypse!
- Each Super Hero has unique skills that are unlocked as you eliminate zombies.
- Players can use actions to acquire different Traits. These single-use cards enhance their skills in different ways.
- Hiding in buildings or being chased by zombies, onlookers are often your first targets. Rescuing them allows you to acquire a permanent ability specific to each of them.
- Your actions can increase your heroic power, which can in turn be spent to obtain bonus dice or to trigger special skill and trait effects.
- The more experience and power you gain, the more hordes of infected will appear to hunt you down each turn. They can hide in any room.
- The apocalypse is in full swing when a zombie hero rises to hunt you down. Death has not weakened their unique powers.
- Modular tiles faithfully recreate Mansion X in every detail. Over the course of 10 missions, you can take up positions on the first floor, in the upstairs dormitories and in the X-Men's underground facilities.
