Even the greatest heroes can succumb to the zombie plague!

An epidemic of zombie plague is spreading through the population. Powerful superheroes do what they can to stop it spreading. But powerful as they are, they are not immune to the ravages of the virus. Today, the heroes who have been transformed by the plague are actively trying to spread it as far as possible. They've even retained much of their personality, but are now twisted in the service of the Hunger.

Marvel Zombies Core Box places players in the decomposing bodies of these infected heroes. Unlike previous editions of Zombicide, they're not trying to stop the zombies, but to spread the plague as far as possible. Each hero retains some of what made them powerful before they were infected, but other heroes who haven't yet been transformed, as well as members of SHIELD, are trying to stop them. Will they all end up serving the Hunger?
