Transparency policy

1. PLATFORM PUBLISHER

The Philibert Marketplace is a marketplace allowing sellers who are board game professionals (hereinafter the "Third Party Sellers"), after validation of their registration, to enter into contact with Customers (hereinafter the "Customers").
Philibert is the publisher of the Marketplace.

The Sellers use the Marketplace to sell tangible and intangible products, in particular board games, game accessories and digital books (hereinafter the "Products").

2. OPERATION OF THE PLATFORM

Philibert is solely responsible for maintaining the Marketplace in operational condition. To this end, corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the Marketplace is carried out exclusively by Philibert.

Philibert retains the exclusive right to add to, delete or modify the functionalities of the Marketplace at any time, as long as this does not substantially harm the purpose of the Marketplace.

Philibert opens a Customer account so that the Customer can purchase Products on the Marketplace.

Once the Product has been selected, it is placed in the Customer's basket. The Customer may then purchase as many Products as they wish by continuing to shop on the Marketplace, or finalise their order.

The Customer may purchase Products either directly from Philibert or from Third Party Sellers authorised to sell their products on the Marketplace.
Philibert acts as a mere technical intermediary whenever it puts Third Party Sellers in contact with Customers and is therefore not responsible for the relationship established between the Third Party Seller and the Customer.

When Philibert acts directly as a Seller of Products, it is solely responsible for the relationship established with the Customer.

In any event, Philibert ensures that consumer rights are respected on the Marketplace, in particular by guaranteeing the Customer pre-contractual information and a right of withdrawal in accordance with the general conditions of sale accessible here.

3. SELLER STATUS ON THE PLATFORM

The Third Party Seller's registration on the Marketplace implies that the Third Party Seller complies with the requirements established by Philibert at the time of its registration and for as long as it markets its Products on the Marketplace.

The requirements established by Philibert are based on objective criteria and are subject to a KYC check by the Seller. The prerequisites are set out in the eligibility charter brought to the attention of and accepted by the Third Party Seller prior to its registration.

It should be noted that the Third Party Seller's presence on the Marketplace is subject to payment of a commission to Philibert for all sales made from the Marketplace.

4. PRESENTATION OF OFFERS

The Customer may browse the Marketplace according to the different categories of Products listed on the Marketplace, whether sold by Philibert or by a Third Party Seller.
The Customer can also use the search engine available on the Marketplace. In this case, the default ranking criterion is relevance to the Customer's search, i.e. the match between the words used in the search and the title and description of the Product.
Philibert does not pay for any offer that appears in the search results.
Philibert does not carry out an a priori control of the offers of the Third Party Seller on the Marketplace so that all offers are likely to be published on the Marketplace.
However, Customers may report content on the Marketplace if they consider it inappropriate.

5. OPINIONS AND RATINGS

Philibert does not authorise reviews and ratings by Customers of Sellers on the Marketplace.
