This illuminating puzzle of the Moon features the moon at its brightest, at night. In this puzzle, you will learn the names of various mountains, valleys, and areas. Six flights that landed on the moon are marked boldly in red. These include; Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Across the top of the puzzle, in each corner, you will find facts about the moon's diameter, the average distance from Earth, and the time it takes to orbit the Earth. You can find a small photographic example of the Lunar, Solar and Total Eclipse. The Sun and its reflective light shine bright in the bottom left-hand corner. Across the bottom of the puzzle, you will find out about the various phases of the Moon, some of which include a new moon, and the first and last quarter.
