Cut off from the rest of the world by a sinister curse, the inhabitants of Willowshore must face the dreaded possibility of a lonely winter. Stocking up on food, preparing for the change of season and dealing with an increasing number of supernatural events occupy the time of the heroes as they strive to prepare Willowshore for winter, but the real test lies along the ancient path that leads to the west of the town. By taking this so-called pilgrim's path, Willowshore's heroes can make their way to an ancient monastery which, they hope, will contain clues on how to defeat the curse. However, whatever now dwells in the ruins may not share its secrets willingly...

This adventure continues the four-part Season of Ghosts monthly campaign, inspired by Asian horror, in which a group of adventurers must protect their hometown from supernatural perils. This adventure also features articles on a local autumn festival and Sangpotshi's philosophy of reincarnation, new magic items, spells and rituals to discover, and a mix of supernatural monsters that will threaten your PJs.
