May 1940.
Once again, German armies stand on their western border, ready to attempt what their fathers failed to do in the Great War: the complete destruction of the French and British armies in Europe.
Unlike previous titles dealing with this subject, there are no "superhuman" German units or "silly" Allied rules to force the game toward the historical outcome. Instead, the game gives the German player several small systemic advantages that he must use at every opportunity if he is to have any hope of avoiding a repeat of 1914.
A large number of historical options are also included in the game to add variety and, if necessary, to tip the balance in favor of the side that players feel needs a little boost.
