Like any monastic order, the professed brethren were supported by larger numbers of lay brothers. In the case of the Military Orders this included large numbers of sergeants who had the unglamorous and dangerous duty of garrisoning castles and patrolling the borders of Outremer.  

This blister contains two different mounted figures, two horses and two heater shields. Weapons and 25mm round bases supplied.
