It's the year 1897, and you are hunting for loot in the city's well-secured villas. One after another, you and your fellow players choose a target, but whoever arrives last gets to take a crack at it first...and the more valuable the loot, the better secured it is.
To start Beutezug ("Raid"), each player chooses a character, and you determine a starting player. In a round, each player in turn chooses a loot card and places their character on it, then in reverse player order, players roll the dice shown on the card. To achieve the desired result, you can use bonuses that you've received previously to re-roll or gain a bonus for dice of a certain color.
If you succeed, you take that loot card, moving any other characters there to a lower card. Once everyone has had a turn, the round ends, then whoever has the most loot points starts the next round.
After seven rounds, whoever has the most loot wins.
