Events around Rakken-Goll have upset the Travelers' plans. Fire, floods and strife threaten to wipe out the city's economy and perhaps even destroy it.
Sir Willard has the authority to act and is eager to do the right thing... but he is inexperienced and indecisive. He invited the Travelers because he wanted to make friends, but now he needs allies... allies who can help him stop the last train from Rakken-Goll.
Instead of the expected job offer, the travelers find a lonely young man desperate for foreign visitors. Sir Willard's residence is comfortable and he is generous; perhaps the travelers would appreciate a little rest at his expense? Perhaps he could be a useful contact to cultivate; who knows where his duties as a nobleman will take him next?
