Centuries ago, on a vast, beautiful and wonderful world, a horde of vile beings known as the Yoten destroyed the heroic Vanir. The survivors fled to a new world, Grimnir. Vast and inhospitable, many died in its early years. Yet it was a place to rebuild.

Generations passed, but the memory of the old world's death was never forgotten. Their descendants, the looters, are still vigilant, watching for the return of the Yoten. You are one of these heroes, destined by destiny to bear witness to the destruction of Grimnir and perhaps free your people from the cycle of destruction and rebirth known as Ragnarök.

• The world of Grimnir. Inspired by Norse mythology and Viking history, this is a sinister, magical land that can be easily integrated into existing campaigns. This book presents the origins of the world, key historical events and describes the raiding clans and wealthy kingdoms that continually threaten their lands.
