Game presentation
Villainous is a strategic board game published by German publisher Ravensburger. The game features iconic villains from the Disney universe, such as Captain Hook, Maleficent, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and Ursula.
Player objectives
During a game of Villainous, each player takes on the role of one of the villains and has his or her own game board, with specific objectives to achieve in order to win. Players use character-specific cards and coins to perform actions, accumulate power and overcome obstacles set up by other players.
A game loved by Disney fans and lovers of asymmetrical games
Interaction between players is a key aspect of the game, as they can play cards to hinder their opponents' progress. Each villain has his or her own style of play and unique mechanics, making every game different.
A wide range
Released in 2018, the base box has been joined by a myriad of expansions and additional titles, forming a deep collection. Here are some of the boxes that make up the Villainous range.
Villainous - Wicked to the Core : take control of one of three villains from Disney films, the Evil Queen from Snow White, Hades from Hercules and Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog.
Villainous - Despicable Plots : take control of one of three new Disney characters, Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), the Dark Lord (Taran and the Magic Cauldron), and Gaston (Beauty and the Beast).
Villainous - The End is Near: play as one of three new Villains from the Disney universe, Scar, Yzma and Ratigan.
Villainous - Bigger, Badder: Syndrome, Madame Mim, Lotso, three new characters, three new objectives, three new ways to play to become the greatest Disney & Pixar villain.
Villainous - Marvel: take on the role of one of the 5 iconic villains of the Marvel universe: Thanos, Héla, Killmonger, Ultron or Taskmaster!
Villainous - Marvel: The Power of Lies: play as 3 new villains from the Marvel universe, Loki, M.O.D.O.K and Madame Masque.
Star Wars Villainous - Power of the Dark Side: an independent game using the same gameplay system as Villainous. Play as an iconic Villain from the Star Wars universe and rule the galaxy.
